The most effective way to improve diversity in your organisation is to include it in all your activities and make it a part of what everyone does – part of the fabric of the organisation.
This is not to say that there may not be some projects specifically about diversity or aimed at particular groups. But these projects will also be more effective if they take place in an organisation where diversity is part and parcel of that organisation’s normal programme of activity.
Take a look at the National Library of Scotland example provided in the Guide.
