Working in partnerships with different communities can sometimes open the door to a more diverse funding base for your work.
Widening and increasing your audience and participants will have a positive impact anyway, and is a good thing to do in any case. But you may also be able to identify new funding streams through the community partnerships you develop as the examples provided demonstrate.
Arts Council of Wales funds projects which it expects will have equality and diversity at their heart. This can be through targeted programmes to engage with audiences, or supporting the work of individuals and companies to get their work seen.
Funding guidelines can be found on the website www.arts.wales/funding or, if you prefer, you can arrange to speak with someone about what assistance might be available to support you or your work.
