Wales Arts International, the international arm of the Arts Council of Wales, is this week organising a first formal cultural delegation from Wales to China as part of a Welsh Government’s Trade Mission lead by Cabinet Secretary for the Economy Ken Skates. The aim of the mission is to enable new work, partnerships, learning opportunities and new exchanges of exhibitions and performers to and from both countries.

Welsh National Opera has announced its artistic programme for 2017/18 which includes ambitious new plans for the Company to extend its reach across all areas of work. The season includes a Russian-themed Autumn season, a three-year Verdi project launching in the Spring, and new plans for smaller-scale touring and special projects to reach a wider range of audiences and venues.
A venue acclaimed as the world capital of choral singing will play host to a show-stopping St David’s Day concert featuring the world famous Rhos Male Voice Choir.
Two EU funded arts projects led by Cardiff arts organisations have been awarded ‘success story’ status from the European Commission.
