It is our aim to ensure that there are no barriers to access to our offices by disabled staff or visitors. The offices have been designed with independence in mind and it is our intention to provide access for all visitors irrespective of their individual needs.

Wheelchair users and other disabled visitors enter the office using the main entrance door along with all other visitors.
Access to the office is by use of the external street door in Queen Street and reception staff are available to assist guests who may have difficulty opening the front entrance door. The secondary access door is automatic.
The Reception area and meeting rooms are located on the Ground floor and are fully accessible. Access to the office on the 1st floor, if required, is by means of an electric lift which is fully compliant with the relevant regulations.
There are a limited number of Disabled Car Parking spaces in the Carmarthenshire County Council car park opposite our office. These may be made available for use by Arts Council of Wales' visitors.
Spaces must be booked in advance and the visitor’s host will confirm if a space is available for their guest.
Suitable toilet facilities are available in the Ground and 1st floor and are easily accessible by wheelchair users.
Hearing Aid Users
The Ground floor meeting rooms are fitted with a hearing induction loop.
Registered Assistance Dogs
Registered Assistance Dogs will be permitted in the office by prior arrangement with the visitor’s host.
Arts Council of Wales recognises that the safety and welfare of visitors is paramount and our emergency evacuation procedures require staff who are hosting meetings to be responsible for the safe evacuation of their guests. In order to achieve this objective it is necessary for the meeting host to assess any special needs of guests and to agree a suitable Emergency Evacuation Plan for individuals.
