As part of this year's festival, 'The Museum of the Moon' by artist Luke Jerram, curated and produced by Migrations, was located in St. John's Methodist Church in Mostyn Street and attracted just over 7,000 visitors to be enthralled by the seven metre spherical sculpture which had previously wowed the crowds worldwide in Europe, Asia, USA and Australia. Featuring NASA imagery of the moon's surface and a specially created sound composition, the installation transformed the church interior and brought a stunning contemporary art experience to shoppers, day trippers and festival goers who had travelled to town for the weekend. LLAWN - Llandudno Arts Weekend is funded by the National Lottery through Arts Council of Wales, Mostyn Estates, Conwy County Council, Arts and Business Cymru and Llandudno Town Council.

Lin Cummins, Audience Relations Manager at MOSTYN said:

We are absolutely thrilled to have received this award. It's a great acknowledgement of the work of our festival organisers and partners in LLAWN, not least Migrations who were instrumental in bringing this remarkable art work to North Wales.
