What Works Wales – Research Into Producing Hubs in Wales

Recognising the need for developing more strategic thinking and collaboration in the area of theatre making, producing and presenting, Arts Council Wales commissioned research from Theatre Bristol, stimulated by the growth in creative producers based in Wales.

The research looked at the needs, potential and processes for establishing and supporting potential hub models in Wales.

Can we find more sustainable ways of making ambitious work that reaches more audiences?

Over the coming months we will be looking at our lottery funding and how tight and dropping resources can be used to best effect to benefit theatre making and presenting.

We would welcome thoughts, ideas and comments from the sector on this report that can feed into the overall debate and would want to work these into our All Wales Creative Conversation currently.

Please send any feedback on the report to producer@arts.wales by 5th January 2018
